Five years designer and musician Roey Tsemah has been thinking about how we can experience music in the digital age just like we did when album covers where true pieces of art. Now he launches Whitestone, a platform conceived by artists, designers and programmers to create, collect and truly experience music.
“Back in 1981 MTV didn’t invent music videos,’ Tsemah says. “Instead, these clever guys saw a new musical expression and gave us – the audience – a place where we can experience it nonstop! Almost quarter of a century later, we have a new way to experience music. Just like MTV build a platform for artist to make music for television, Whitestone builds a place for artists to create music for the internet.”
To keep Whitestone independent, the initiaters started a Kickstarter campaign to raise €75,000 that will allow the completion and release of the first stage of their platform.
