Want to know more about our Refugee Challenge? Join us this Tuesday in Amsterdam for an evening exploring how designers, architects, scientists and artists can contribute to the refugee crisis. The program begins at 8PM, and entrance is free!
This event is also the kick-off of Pakhuis de Zwijger’s new program, ‘Toekomstplanners’ or ‘Future planners’, and brings together a roster of key figures and initiators, all of whom are working on projects aimed at improving the lives of refugees. This includes Tim de Haas, head of technology at IKEA Foundation’s Better Shelter, Pim van der Mijl, designer and founder of De Voorkamer, and of course, WDCD Challenge leader Dagan Cohen. Together they will be discussing everything from concrete solutions to speculative projects that address the refugee journey and its many challenges.
Read more about this event and the entire upcoming #Vluchtroute week at Pakhuis De Zwijger. See you there!
