Internet of Elephants, a company set up raise the interest in wildlife preservation, is seeking test gamers to play their first game prototype and provide the makers with feedback. With staggering extinction figures traditional fundraising and tourism will not be sufficient to turn the tide. This is why IT consultant Gautam Shah gave up his job and founded Internet of Elephants, based in Kenya and the United States. The social enterprise is a collaboration of technologists, conservationists, educators, game designers, and strategists working together towards a stronger connection between people and wild animals. Among them Dutch brand developer Anne Miltenburg and Dutch game developer Michiel Sala, founder of Little Chicken.
Together they try to close the huge gap between interest in animals and real action against wildlife decline. As Traditional fundraising and tourism will not be sufficient to turn the tide, Shah and his team introduce an interactive game in which people of all ages can play’ with real wild animals based on real animal data.
