Fresh Eyes on the Refugee CrisisThought-provoking video represents the views academic experts on refugee situation

A recent workshop of young academics in Amsterdam about Europe’s response to the refugee migrant situation, resulted in the video ‘Fresh Eyes on the Refugee Crisis: an interdisciplinary approach’, which indeed is refreshing.

The movie, written and narrated by British journalist and digital publisher Adam Westbrook, represents the views of over twenty academic experts and practitioners, from different disciplines, countries and cultures. They gathered in Amsterdam for a 2-day meeting organized by the Global Young Academy and the Dutch Young Academy, with input from the wider research community. The conclusions of the workshop are laid down in a 12-page document, available from the globalyoungacademy.net website.
