And smart it is, this solution for pedestrians ignoring the traffic lights commissioned by car manufacturer Smart. The company is on a quest for ideas that make our cities safer, more sustainable and more fun. In the centre of the Portuguese capital Lisbon an installation was made where dance movements of passers by were transferred in real time to the red figure in the pedestrian traffic light. A great nudge.

Now here is the challenge for our readers: in Amsterdam cyclists ignoring the red lights are an even bigger problem.
