Tina Farifteh is an impact strategist and an artist. She has always been inspired by images and the impact of images on our thoughts, emotions and behaviour. She works as an impact strategist for Shadow Game, a transmedia project about the far-reaching consequences of European asylum policy. Groundbreaking about its approach, is that Tina, together with directors Eefje Blankevoort and Els van Driel, worked on an extensive framework on how to use the film, and other project parts as an accelerator for change in the real world.
With her unique approach on strategy combined with activist campaigns, she embarked on a new narrative and approach method, she continuously challenges herself and the people she works with on what is impact and marketing. How do you ensure that everything contributes to the eventual change? How do you define success and how do you measure it? How do you deal with ethical issues along this process? And what’s next?
In her own artistic practice she is always working on systems, concepts, images and impact, Tina (winner FFN Talent Award) likes to question and challenge us to relook.
