Sheena Khalid is a theatre director, writer, actor, and drama facilitator based in Mumbai. A founding member of Patchworks Ensemble, she is passionate about live storytelling in all its forms—whether on stage, through spoken word, or in one-on-one coaching.
Beyond theatre, Sheena is a storyteller with Kommune and a guest curator for Spoken Fest, India’s largest festival for storytelling, spoken word, and poetry. She has developed solo storytelling modules for diverse audiences and works with private clients on public speaking and presentation skills.
Her work has earned recognition, including the Laadli Award for Gender Sensitivity and the Tendulkar-Dubey Fellowship for outstanding young theatre artists. She has been part of international collaborations in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, and Chicago, and attended the Lincoln Center Directors Lab in New York.
