In many communities, repair is a dying skill. Club de Reparadores is an Argentinian social enterprise that aims to change that. Their platform Reparar.org V2.0 is an online repair directory making it easy to find local repairers while promoting a culture of care across Latin America. In terms of impact, Reparar.org V2.0 is a triple-threat: reducing waste for the environment, offering employment opportunities and building collaborative communities.
The platform also provides much-needed information for those who do not opt for repair, guiding users on how to reuse safely and dispose properly. The current pilot allows users to search and rate repair services according to category and location within the city of Buenos Aires.
