Kit Braybrooke is a postdigital anthropologist and designer from Vancouver, Las Vegas and London who explores how technological innovation can invite more-than-human communities—animal, vegetal, machine, and algorithmic—to walk together across new terrains. As Professor and Head of the MA Transversal Design at FHNW Academy of Art and Design in Basel, their work critically examines the systems, spaces, and power structures that shape our world. From hacker cultures and transfeminist futures to experimental platforms like living labs, commons, and circular economies, Kit’s practice applies feral digital methods to drive systems change across Europe, Asia, and beyond. They are a director of the transfeminist design studio We&Us and co-founder of the community Art Tech Nature Culture, and their work has been showcased by institutions including Tate Modern, Tate Britain, British Museum, Furtherfield, BBC and others.
