Kit Braybrooke is a transmedia anthropologist and designer-artist exploring how technological innovation can invite more-than-human communities—animal, vegetal, machine, and algorithmic—to walk together across new terrains. As Professor and Head of the new MA Transversal Design at IXDM, HGK Basel, their work critically examines the systems, spaces, and power structures that shape our world. From hacker cultures and transfeminist futures to experimental platforms like living labs, commons, and circular economies, Kit’s practice applies feral digital methods to drive systems change. They are a director of the critical design studio We&Us, co-founder of Art Tech Nature Culture, and their work has been showcased by institutions and media platforms across Europe, Asia, and beyond.
