Gustavo Nogueira de Menezes (he/they) is a Temporality Researcher from the Amazon Rainforest and founder of Temporality Lab. Specialising in temporalities and decolonial perspectives, Gustavo helps individuals and societies reflect on change using ancestral and contemporary methods.
Based in Amsterdam, he collaborates with companies like Globo, Google, Natura, Netflix, Nubank, and Spotify. His research with IAM Internet & AIxDesign explores AI’s impact on time perception and Ancestral AI. His work addresses social change, ancestry, speculative design, and decoloniality, offering insights into time’s influence on human experience and encouraging a rethinking of our relationship with time.Gustavo Nogueira de Menezes is a facilitator in the break out session The Re-Generation: Manifesting Climate Futures.
