What Design Can Do lands in India for the first edition of WDCD Live in Delhi
The festival brings together designers, innovators, and changemakers in one of South Asia’s most rapidly evolving cities. Through a diverse programme of talks, workshops, and exhibitions, WDCD Live Delhi will highlight real-world examples and inspire creative approaches to building a fair and regenerative future.
Themes
By weaving together global perspectives and local insights, WDCD Live Delhi 2025 aims to inspire bold strategies that foster more resilient, circular and collective ways of living. The festival will merge conversation and concerns around climate with the creative imagination needed to spark action. The day-long programme will feature talks, workshops, exhibitions and cultural performances led by some of the most influential creatives from South Asia and beyond.

What Design Can Do Live Delhi 2025 is a hub for connecting, collaborating, and amplifying your own impact. With a main stage program featuring talks by creative visionaries such as Som Ray, Ant Studio, and Deepali Khanna, Breakout Sessions turning vision into action, plus a special exhibition celebrating the winners of the Redesign Everything Challenge.

For this year’s festival, What Design Can Do will take place in the India Habitat Centre. Elegantly designed, the campus is a hub of activity while simultaneously being serene. The event will make use of the Stein Auditorium, The Theatre, and Plaza Steps.

We invite designers and creative entrepreneurs to support them in refining their creative climate solutions and boosting their impact for a circular transition. We begin this journey with a worldwide open call, followed by an in-person Sprint week in Amsterdam and an online programme offering training, mentorship and publicity to help selected design innovators thrive.
