This breakout session is organised in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Escuela de Arquitectura, Arte y Diseño del Tecnológico de Monterrey. This programme is powered by the Delegation of the European Union to Mexico.
In Colours of / from Nature Francesca Valan will help participants to identify the colorimetry of Mexico’s natural world. In the workshop, a color palette will be made using nature and the local climate as a guide. Through the workshop it is sought that the participants understand and reconnect with nature through its colorimetry. To understand, using the perspective of color, the identity of the natural world and its relationship with design.
Participants will use local flora to create a color composition. This is an interactive workshop in which the participants will learn to understand the locality through nature and its colorimetry. Through a hands-on experience creating colors and compositions that later can be used to apply for products and trends.
