Nitisha Agrawal is the founder and director of the Smokeless Cookstove Foundation (SCF), a non-profit dedicated to bringing clean cooking solutions to underserved communities across India. After 17 years in the corporate sector, she shifted her focus to energy access, sustainability, and livelihood opportunities for marginalized groups, particularly women.
Through SCF, she has trained rural entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and NGOs in clean cooking technologies. As a Godrej Design Lab Fellow and mentor with the Clean Cooking Alliance, she continues to advocate for inclusive energy solutions. She also works on projects like a solar-powered induction cooking initiative for rural schools and childcare centers with Schneider Electric.
Nitisha was a panelist on Gender Day at COP29, sharing insights on women’s leadership in the energy transition. A writer and traveler, she integrates systems thinking and spirituality into her work, ensuring a holistic approach to social impact.
